María Cavagnero, an artist, comedian, wheel artist, and shaman from Argentina, has lived in Italy and Spain, pursuing her passion for art. Specializing in aerial fabrics, trapeze, rope, and Cyr wheel, she is one of the few representatives of the latter in Spain, participating in international festivals. Her show “Equilibrium" has won awards, including those from the International Theater Festival of Molina de Segura, Circada Off 2018, and the Gran Premi BBVA Zirkòlika de Circ 2018. She has worked with renowned artists and companies such as La Fura del Baus, La Fiesta Escenica, Sacude Danza Vertical, Passabarret, and La Tendre Amour. Currently, she is on a world tour with her Cyr wheel act “DONA," which focuses on feminine energy and sisterhood. She also combines her artistic career with female training and healing, teaching aerial techniques with over 15 years of experience at the Associació Tinglado and other institutions. Her travels and international experiences enrich her artistic expression. She has just premiered the show “Mary Jones Grandiosa" at the Festicam Festival in Amposta, a circus and humor performance. This solo creation began in May 2023 and tells the exciting story of Mary Jones.
